About HTAA
Our Mission
Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association (HTAA) is Hofstra Law's nationally acclaimed trial team. HTAA is dedicated to improving students' advocacy skills and trial techniques through participation in intramural and interscholastic trial competitions across the country.
Benefits of Membership
Through camaraderie and teamwork, members of HTAA are given the unique and invaluable opportunity to learn how to be a trial lawyer before graduating law school. Competitors grow in their confidence and self-awareness, while developing skills in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, public speaking, teamwork, critical thinking, etc.
How to become a member
In order to become a member of HTAA, you must compete in our Fall Intramural Competition. After the competition is concluded, HTAA extends offers of membership based on performance and effort shown throughout the competition.
