Hofstra Trial Team

The Hofstra Trial Teams represent Hofstra Law in interscholastic trial competitions across the country. The nationally acclaimed program is dedicated to developing skilled courtroom advocates through rigorous preparation, teamwork, and competitive experience.

Team members gain hands-on experience preparing and presenting a case, from opening statements and witness examinations to closing arguments. Through coaching and competition, students sharpen their trial techniques, strengthen their legal reasoning, and develop the confidence to advocate effectively in the courtroom.

Students interested in joining a Hofstra Trial Team must participate in tryouts. Information about tryout dates and requirements is distributed through Hofstra Law and HTAA before the summer and spring semester.
